Some people say that romance and business don’t mix… but we chose to write our own story. United in love since 2006 and blessed with a cherished daughter who fills our lives with pride and joy, we emigrated from our hometown of Havana, Cuba, to the United States in 2017, embracing the challenge of finding new paths that would make us feel happy and secure.

My name is Mirtha Carmona, and I hold a degree in Art History from the University of Havana. I built my career in marketing and advertising, working with prestigious agencies in Cuba and promoting brands in countries such as Argentina, Brazil, France, Norway, Finland, and Denmark, among others. I was a founder of Euro Business Market S.L. (EBM), where I started as a sales executive and later served as General Manager until 2017. There, I specialized in branding, global advertising, and international procurement. In 2018, I became an insurance agent in the United States, discovering a truly rewarding career path. As an insurance agent, I achieved the status of… …Diamond status at Combined Insurance Co. of America, and I have received multiple awards—most recently in 2025, when I was selected as one of Ambetter Health’s Top Agents in Florida.

My name is Alcibiades Fonseca. I hold a degree in Chemistry from the Higher Pedagogical Institute of Havana and dedicated a significant part of my professional life to teaching at the pre-university level. Years later, I continued my career in the retail sector, working in administrative and sales roles. I value job stability; after arriving in the United States, I worked for several years at the same company while simultaneously exploring the insurance industry and learning about how it operates and the impact it has on people’s lives. In 2022, I decided to shift my career path and dedicate myself fully to this industry, obtaining my insurance agent license in Florida. That marked the beginning of what would soon evolve into a purposeful and deeply committed family venture.

In January 2024, we launched MC Golden Insurance LLC, an agency founded with the purpose of training and supporting new insurance agents. This journey has been both a challenging and deeply enriching experience—one we are honored to lead.

Today, we can proudly say that our agents distinguish themselves through their high level of preparedness, ethics, and responsibility, as well as a firm commitment to the community. Each of them embodies the essence of our mission: practicing the profession with a human-centered approach rooted in respect, integrity, and the collective spirit that defines us.

The MC Golden family continues to grow every day, and with it our commitment to making a difference in the lives of those who trust us.

At the same time, we continue to look after our own client base, which grows day by day. For us as insurance agents, that is our true reason for being: protecting families with love and dedication.
